綠蘆筍母莖更新與留莖方法試驗

摘　　要

本試驗旨在研究最適當的母莖更新與留莖數之方法，在本省亞熱帶地區以上半年採收至六月底止，母莖任其生長至八月中旬，全部割除而予母莖更新，以備下半年之採收；留莖數在顧及產量及品質之情形下，以上半年留母莖二株，下半年留三株為最好。

An Experiment on the Methods of Maintaining and Renewing the Mother Stalks in Green Asparagus

Summary

        Asparagus culture in sub-tropical and tropical zones maintain the mother stalks during the harvesting season is necessary.  How does asparagus maintain and renew the mother stalks is very important.  Results of this experiment showed the mother stalks were maintained 2 in the first cutting season, 3 in the second season during the harvesting periods (we have two cutting seasons in Taiwan).

        To renew the mother stalks method were to cut the all and renew in summer time, but to perform it under the fine day was considerable, because the plant’s crowns were injured easily by the much rainfall continuously as those obtained in the field studies.
