巨大胚水稻新品種臺南15號之育成

摘  要

  羅正宗、陳榮坤。2011。巨大胚水稻新品種台南15號之育成。臺南區農業改良場研究彙報58:1-10。

  臺南15號原品系名稱為臺稉育203號,係本場嘉義分場於民國93年第二期作,以高雄143號及嘉農育891032號之雜交F2世代植株為母本,日本巨大胚水稻品種haiminori為父本進行雜交選育而成(水稻高雄143號為高雄區農業改良場育成之早熟、優質品種;嘉農育891032號品系為農業試驗所嘉義分所於89年選育出之優質穩產品系;haiminori為日本所育成之巨大胚水稻品種,具有高GABA含量之特性),94年第一期作栽植F1世代植株,於民國94年第二期作至96年第一期作進行F2至F5世代的選拔工作。而後經初級與高級產量比較試驗,及氮素肥效試驗與GABA含量測定結果顯示:本品種為一早熟、產量穩定之品種,穀粒GABA含量高,一期作之氮素利用效率高等優良特性。於民國100年第一期作經本場審查委員會審議通過,命名為臺南15號。由於本品種具有上述之優良特性,預期新品種將可為部分農民、廠商及消費者所歡迎,尤其以糙米營養為主要目標之消費群,當會注意本品種之營養價值。

Development of a Newly Giant Embryo Rice Variety “Tainan 15”

Abstract

  A newly giant embryo rice variety “Tainan 15” was released by Chiayi Branch Station of the Tainan District Agricultural Improvement Station in the first crop season of 2011. The variety was derived from a cross between F2 plant (derived from a cross KH143 and CNY891032) and giant embryo rice verity haiminori from Japan , hybridized in the first crop season of 2004. Through seven years breeding processes, including progeny selection, preliminary, advanced, nitrogen response and Gamma-amynobutylic acid (GABA) content tests. After evaluation by the Committee of Registration for New Rice Varieties of the Tainan District Agricultural Improvement Station. This early maturing variety is characterized with the merits of stable grain yield , higher GABA of the brown rice , well response to nitrogen.
