咖啡果小蠹之監測及田間誘殺試驗

  本研究首次記錄咖啡果小蠹在台灣之發生,並利用自行開發之誘殺器進行田間咖啡果小蠹之監測。於雲林縣古坑鄉及台南縣東山鄉的咖啡園均誘殺到蟲體,其中以東山鄉高原村的族群密度較高,果實受害也較嚴重。於2008年11月至12月之成蟲數最高,達36,308及29,123隻/5個誘殺器。利用本誘殺器進行誘殺之最佳懸掛密度為每分地20個,可以有效降低19.1%的被害果率。

Monitoring Survey of Coffee Berry Borer, Hypothenemus hampei,
and its control in the field

Abstract

  This study was major in coffee berry borer (CBB), Hypothenemus hampei, for new record in Taiwan. Using self-developed trap for the monitoring of the CBB in the coffee farm. Almost the coffee farm in Kukeng Township in Yunlin County and Donshan Township in Tainan County were trapped the CBB. Especially, the Gaoyuan village the population density is high, coffee berries damage severe. The highest population peaks were found to be 36,308 and 29,123 adult/ 5 traps in November and December 2008, respectively. The optimum density of the trap in coffee farm was 20 / 0.1 hectare, and can reduce 19.1% of the damage.
