小胡瓜台南1號之育成

摘 要
趙秀淓、連大進、王裕權。2010。小胡瓜台南1號之育成。台南區農業改良場研究彙報56:29-34。
小胡瓜台南1號為一代雜交品種。原品系代號為YC育04,自94年起進行組合力檢定試驗後,再經新品系比較試驗及新品系區域試驗等試驗,於99年完成命名為台南1號。主要特性為具雌花節成性及單為結果,果色翠綠色,果皮條溝不明顯,果面有刺,果長22∼23公分,平均果重90∼100公克,產量每0.1公頃約為6公噸。較對照品種河童盛夏11號抗白粉病,適宜簡易溫網室內土耕或無土栽培。

Breeding of a New Cucumber Variety “Tainan No.1”

Abstract
Tainan No. 1 is a hybrid cucumber variety which its original breeding code was YC-04 in combining test, comparison test and performed regional yield trial and it was released in 2010 by Tainan DARES. The main characteristics of Tainan No. 1 were as follow:
1. Tainan No. 1 is a variety with gynoecious lines
and parthenocarpy character.
2. The fruit skin color is emerald with unobvious strip ditch, fruit thorn
covering entirely.
3. The fruit length is 22∼23 cm, fruit average weight about 90∼100 g, yield
about 6 ton/ha.
4. The variety is a powdery mildew tolerance variety so it fit soil and soilless
cultures for simple greenhouse or net house.
