水稻低直鏈澱粉品種台南14號之育成

摘  要

  陳榮坤、羅正宗。2009。水稻低直鏈澱粉品種台南14號之育成。臺南區農業改良場研究彙報55:1-11。

  水稻台南14號係以日本低直鏈澱粉品種Milky Queen為母本,台農67號為父本進行雜交,歷經分離世代選拔,於2006年由觀察世代選出,進入初、高級產量比較試驗、食味檢定、生物性及非生物性特性檢定後,於2009年10月27日以台南14號為名申請植物品種權。台南14號為稉稻,直鏈澱粉含量為10.2 %,米粒略呈乳白色,食味優於台稉9號,稻穀產量佳,脫粒率及穗上發芽率低,中抗白背飛蝨。本品種生育日數第1期作平均為114.5天,第2期作平均為103.0天,較中晚熟對照品種台稉9號分別早熟7天及4.5天,適合台灣地區栽培。

Development of a Low-amylose Content Rice Variety “Tainan No.14 ”

Abstract

  New Japonica type and low-amylose content rice variety, Tainan 14, was derived from a cross between Milky Queen and Tainung 67. Through eight years breeding processes, including progeny selection, preliminary, advanced yield trials, quality evaluation, abiotic and biotic screening tests, Tainan 14 was applied plant variety right on October 27, 2009. Tainan 14 was possessed 10.2 % amylose content, milky grain appearance, higher eating quality compared with Taikeng 9, good yield potential, lower shattering, lower on-panicle sprouting and moderately resistant to white backed plant hopper. Growth duration of Tainan 14 was 114.5 days in the first crop season and 103 days in the second crop season. The variety was recommended to be cultivated in whole rice regions in Taiwan.
