毛豆台南選1號之育成

毛豆台南選1號係台南區農業改良場與亞洲蔬菜研究發展中心合作育成,由茶豆類毛豆契作田中採純系育種方法,選出182個優良單株,經品系試驗、區域試驗及一系列栽培試驗結果顯示,毛豆台南選1號具食味口感佳、合格莢產量較現有栽培茶豆類毛豆品種高、耐病蟲害、糖及異黃酮類的含量高,於2003年10月經行政院農業委員會召集之作物新品種登記命名審查小組審查通過,商品名稱金芋。毛豆台南選1號綠莢生育日數春作61∼91天,秋作62∼65天。植株屬有限生長型。春作株高為19.9∼31.1公分,秋作株高為23.3∼33.2公分。花白色,葉為三小葉卵圓形。種皮及臍均為褐色,乾種子百粒重29∼33公克。春作合格莢產量每公頃5,570∼11,150公斤,500公克莢數133∼180個,剝實率47.0∼68.7%,秋作合格莢產量每公頃3,319∼8,280公斤,500公克莢數196∼215個,剝實率55.6∼57.4%。

The Breeding of the New Vegetable Soybean Variety Tainan Selection No. 1

Summary

 Tainan selection no.1 is a new vegetable soybean variety developed by The Tainan District Agricultural Research and Extension Station and Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center. It was selectied from the local cultivar and went through a series of standard field evaluations followed the official protocols. There are many good characteristics sush as excellent flavor, high graded pod yield, superior resistance to major diseases and insects, high sugar and isoflavon content. Therefore, it was released under the agreement of The New Crop Cultivar Naming, Registration and Inspection Committee Organized by the Council of Agriculture of the Executive-Yuan, R.O.C. The main characteristics of Tainan selection no.1 were as fallows: Tainan selection no.1 is a early maturing cultivar and required approximately 61-91 days and 62-65 days in the spring and the fall crop, respectively. Plant height is about 19.9-31.1 centimeters in the spring crop and 23.3-33.2 centimeters in the fall crop. It has wight flower and trifoliolate oval leaflets. The seed coat and hilum are brown. The 100-seed dry weight is 29 to 33 grams. Average graded pod yield of Tainan selection no.1 is 5570-11150 kg/ha, 133-180 pods per 500 grams, 47.0-68.7% with shelling rate in the spring crop and 3319-8280 kg/ha, 196-215 pods per 500 grams, 55.6-57.4% with shelling rate in the fall crop.
