根瘤線蟲與Phytophthora meloni之複合感染對胡瓜黃化萎凋之影響

摘  要

為探討根瘤線蟲Meloidogyne incognita 與Phytophthora meloni在胡瓜黃化萎凋株上所扮演之角色,在溫室進行盆栽接種試驗,生長初期之胡瓜幼苗每株接種100隻根瘤線蟲,即可在根部產生根瘤阻碍根部生長,造成植株矮化現象。P. meloni 若每株胡瓜接種4,000個以上的游走孢子,可使瓜苗根部腐爛,地上部呈現黃化萎凋現象。兩者病原微生物若同時接種或先後接種,結果顯示造成胡瓜黃化萎凋的主因為P. meloni,而根瘤線蟲早期於根部所形成的傷口將更有利於P. meloni 的侵入。

Summary

In greenhouse experiments, seedlings of cucumber grown in steamed soil, 5 days after germination, were inoculated with either Meloidogyne incognita or Phytophthora melonis or in combination. The results showed that the plants inoculated with 100 larvae of M. incognita showed stunting and produced knots on roots, while the plant inoculated with 4000 zoospores of P. melonis appeared yellowing, wilting and root rot.  The synergistic of both microorganisms caused more quickly yellowing and wilting of plants.
